Cerámica A Mano Alzada

Cerámica A Mano Alzada

When we started working with Cerámica a Mano al Mano alzada they were in the middle of a rebranding process to differentiate themselves from their competitors and consolidate their presence in the sector. We carried out a complete visual strategy process for them, focusing on the photographic use of images and their integration with other elements such as graphics. We also created the first bunch of images for they website and social media.

What we did:

Branding Photography Strategy // Web photography consulting and design // Social Media photography strategy // Production and timing // Set design // Art Direction // Styling // Lifestyle photography //

The goals and strategy behind this project

Cerámica A Mano Alzada designs and produces lattices and ceramics for architecture and also creates bespoke ceramic projects.

With their rebranding they wanted to celebrate their tenth anniversary and at the same time show a more mature and differentiated image from their competitors.

When we analysed their target, we saw that they are mainly European architects and interior designers who are looking for unique ceramic solutions for their projects.

Therefore, our strategy was to create a visual identity closer to designers and architects, clean and refined, where lights and shadows were a constructive element.

Production and planning

Once the references and competitors had been analysed and the visual strategy for the photographs had been defined, we designed how the photographs from different sources were going to interact on their website, blog and social networks.

Also, analysing the needs of the website and the sections to be illustrated, we planned a one-day photo shoot in the studio.

For them we designed several sets, including an office environment, in their corporate colours. We also designed small lattice panels that functioned as props and created interesting light effects

We also did the styling for both, Miguel and Cristina, looking for clothes and brands that fit the new brand guidelines: smart casual outfits that look both professional and designer-architect.

Portrait and lifestyle photography

In this project we focused on creating enough images for the home and about pages of their brand-new website.

They needed to communicate who they are and what they do, so we mainly used portrait photography: on coloured backdrops and also in a lifestyle way, around an office we built for the occasion.

Portrait and lifestyle photography

Using the sets we created, we took some product shots in natural light that they could use to illustrate some banners and covers for their website.
